GW FOOD AND DRINK
Looking for a place to eat before or after class?  Foggy Bottom offers several great options that grad students often visit.  Close to campus, 2000 Penn houses several choices including Johnny Rocket's, Bertucci's Brick Oven Restaurant, Wasabi To Go for sushi, and Au Bon Pain.  If you have more time and just got paid, try Kinkead's.  Across the street from 2000 Penn is Founding Farmer's, a green- friendly restaurant using locally grown foods in a deliciously artistic way.
Other close to campus options include GW Delicatessan, a student favorite.  Interested in getting a drink after class?  Tonic is always a good choice and while you're there, don't pass up a chance to try their tater-tots.  For a quick sandwich, head to Potbelly's; the chocolate chip cookies should not be over-looked!
Still have a sweet tooth?  Head to Cone E. Island for a cold treat!

GW ATHLETICS

A founding member of the Atlantic 10 Conference, GW has 22 NCAA Division I varsity teams: 10 men's and 12 women's.
The indoor sports such as Men's and Women's Basketball, and Volleyball are played in the Charles E. Smith Center on the corner of 22nd and G Streets. To attend GW home basketball games during the season, students can enter for free and must present their GWorld card with a season validation sticker.

To receive your season validation sticker for this year's basketball season, simply go to the Ticketmaster Office on the ground floor of the Marvin Center. For more information and hours please click here.

GW NIGHTLIFE
The weekend is here!  If you are looking to stay close to campus, Georgetown has several good options including Garrett's, Mr. Smith's, and Old Glory.  Need a place to watch the big game?  Dupont Circle's Buffalo Billiards will not disappoint.  For the trendy scene, try newer hot-spots in the U Street area including Local 16, Marvin, and Cork.
