Junior Colonials Cheerleading Clinic

The GW Spirit Program annually hosts the Junior Colonials Cheerleading Clinic for children of GW students, faculty and staff.  The date for this event is typically set by late fall, and typically occurs on a Saturday or Sunday in January or February.  Children are taught cheers and dances, as well as how to partner stunt on a co-ed team led by the GW Cheer and Dance team members. The "Junior Colonials" then perform these new skills and cheers during a GW women's basketball game later that day, including a half time dance routine.
